Innocent

It’s almost comical how relatives of violent criminal predators cover up their kin’s thug lifestyles, painting them instead as “good kids”.

Take Tyrone Harris, Jr. for instance.

He was the ne’er-do-well who found himself springing a leak after he was shooting at plainclothes police in Ferguson.

FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Tyrone Harris, Jr. showed off guns on Facebook, was out on bond for other felony charges.

18-year-old Tyrone Harris, Jr. was released on bond for a different felony case, before the August 9, 2015 gun battle.   He`s now charged with ten additional felonies including 1st degree assault on law enforcement officers. Minutes before his shooting, we were at the front line when we heard about looting at a strip mall one parking lot over. That’s where the gunfight broke out.

St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar called it ‘a remarkable amount of gunfire.’

Police said Harris shot at them. Belmar added, ‘The plain clothed detectives returned fire from the inside of their van.’

Harris survived and was transported to a hospital. Police said he was carrying a stolen 9 mm handgun. Belmar said, ‘The suspect`s gun was stolen in 2014 from Cape Girardeau.’

We`ve confirmed with police sources, the Facebook page of Tyrone Harris. He calls himself TY Glocks. He`s posted dozens of pictures with him holding guns, often posting them with the #pistolgang. His last post was about an hour before the shooting. It said “I (expletive) around go on West Florissant tonight.”

Of course his daddy said it wasn’t him in a Washington Post story that made him out to be nearly a saint.

Tyrone Harris Jr. ‘was pulling it together. And then, this happened.’

…The complicated series of events that followed led to a fate for Harris that was eerily similar to that of his former high school schoolmate: shot by police, blood spilling from his shirt, lying in a street just a few blocks from the street where Brown, 18, died.

On Monday night, Harris remained in critical condition. Now, his father is keeping a stubborn hope that his son will stay alive.

“My son’s fingerprints are not on that gun,” he said. “He was gunned down like a hog.”

Gunned down like a hog?  Or like a common street thug?

Then police release the video of daddy’s little angel, popping off rounds at the poe-lease.

But it wasn’t Tyrone Harris Sr.’s son holding the gun.  He was just a good boy shot down like a hog!

Tyrone Jr. was “real close friends” to Michael Brown too, according to Tyrone Sr.  Maybe true.  After all birds of a feather flock together.

From the Washington Post story mentioned above:

Tyrone Harris Jr. was hanging with the wrong crowd again, his relatives said.

…Throughout Monday, as friends and family members streamed in and out of the elder Harris’s red brick home in St. Louis, there were words of grief and words of anger. People said little about Harris, with his innocent eyes and easy smile, aside from the fact that he is a “good kid.”

…the father said his son had started going to church and taking school more seriously. He had dreams of being an electrician, his mother’s profession.

He didn’t want to be one of those African Americans that’s known for going to jail and getting a GED,” Coley said. “He made it through, and I salute him so much for that.”

“He made some mistakes,” said the elder Harris, a landscaper. “He was pulling it together. And then, this happened.”

Some mistakes?

In November, the younger Harris and a friend led police on a high-speed car chase while driving a stolen vehicle. Police charged Harris with auto theft, theft of a firearm and resisting arrest.

He was just a good boy, according to dad.  “Pulling it together.”

Let’s go to his Facebook page and see how he was doing in his quest.   (His Facebook page has been pulled down but recorded at GotNews):

He was pulling it together alright.

Not everyone was buying the Washington Post’s “poor Tyrone” story.  From the comments:

The victimization complex is one of the black community’s greatest enemies.

It’s always someone else’s fault.

“But on Sunday night, Tyrone Harris Jr. was hanging with the wrong crowd again”

You see, it’s not Tyrone’s fault. It was the crowd he was hanging with. They forced him to pick up a gun and try to kill people.

It’s not the fact that young blacks still have trouble speaking proper English or don’t have the intellect, it’s society’s fault for not hiring them. If only the local bank or business down the street would have hired them, they wouldn’t be tattooed up with gang tats, pants around their knees and waving guns around.

America, especially white America is tired of constantly being blamed for the troubles of black America especially when so much of white America is taxed to death to pay for the never-ending gravy train that so many black Americans abuse.

Stop engaging in violence, educate yourself, act civilized and you will be welcomed into civilized society. No one wants blacks to rise up and better themselves more than whites do.

The bad guys have guns, ladies and gentlemen.

Do you, as a good guy, have yours?

  1. That picture of him on the ground, cuffed and bloody with the life leaving his eyes is one of my fav in 2015.

  2. Oh boy. Here we go again.

How long will it take Tyrone’s friends from Fergidishu to find this article and begin posting their hollow threats, ignorant missives about not making fun of the dead and other dope-addled comments for our literary entertainment?

The only thing that went wrong with this guy’s story is that he’s still breathing oxygen.

And that comment at the WaPost was so good it’s worth repeating:

    I agree 2000%.

  3. Remember Reagan’s comment on a hot-mike in about ’84?

The bombing begins in five minutes!

I wish they’d do that with Fergidishu (HT Sam Whittemore!).

Or to quote one of the greatest female role models in history: “I say we blast off, dust the site from orbit; it’s the only way to be sure!”

  4. That is a fine display trigger discipline. How is it possible that there aren’t more negligent discharges during these Facebook photo shoots?

  5. It would seem that thugging can lead to life-threatening injuries.

Play stupid games, earn great prizes.

  6. Let’s all think for a minute what kind of (absent for this guy) comments the lefties would make if a white dude dressed like Larry The Cable Guy posted that many pictures of himself holding guns…
