Bob Costas was the guest of late, late night TV on Seth Meyers’ “Late Night” program.

Of course, Mr. Costas, the mental giant who wears makeup to go on TV to talk about men playing sports most of the time, lamented the “gun culture” among athletes.  He referenced (blamed?) that culture on “dozens, if not hundreds of sorry incidents” of those athletes misusing guns.

He went on to pontificate:

Let’s make a bet, you and me. Let’s say over the next five years we’ll do a Google search. We’ll have an independent party monitor it. You keep track of how many good and constructive things are associated with athletes having a gun, and I’ll keep track of all the tragedies and criminality and folly. And let’s see who comes out ahead or behind as the case may be.

Costas, the narcissistic sports commentator, last drew attention to himself with his botox-caused eye infections (gotta smooth out those wrinkles!) during the recent Winter Olympics.

  1. It’s not the “gun culture” in sports, it’s the thug culture in sports. Once major league sports stops hiring criminals to entertain the masses, then I’m positive the tragedies so often seen with athletes will trickle down to near nil.

  2. I hope Costas is not only growing his own food, but, maybe hair pieces and plugs, also.

  3. That would be the same Bob Costas who used a Sunday Night Football haltime show to go on an anti gun rant in 2012. Why is this moron still on the air?

  4. Hes’ too dumb to know, but many good things that athletes might do with guns would never make it to Google. Just like the lame stream media, good news is not news. It’s only worth mentioning if it is something bad.
