If you need me, email me at jboch@gunssavelife.com.

As much as I detest Google, they are VASTLY better in service than Comcast it seems.

Comcast sucks.

No, they really suck.

I’m in the process of moving and Comcast decided yesterday I no longer needed my old email addresses.  Or access to my account.

I’ve spent just shy of 100 minutes on the phone in three calls, one of which was dropped, listening to Comcast’s insipid hold music and advertisements for pay per view “events” and other trash.  I’ve talked with eight people, three of whom spoke English as a second or third language.

My favorite ESL statement:  “Is your email a Comcast email?”

Here’s your sign, pal.

Now I get to wait up to 72 hours for them to get me back up and running.

If anyone out there is just starting out with internet and cable TV, my advice is avoid Comcast like the plague.

  1. CommieKast are so into Obama, I be surprised if their customer service menu didn’t say, press 1 for Obamacare, press 2 if your a illegal alien for Obamacare, Press 3 for Kiss MyRA GOODBYE….

  2. hey, speakin’ of shitty service, anyone know what’s wrong with central illinois gun exchange? I haven’t been able to get on for weeks.

Or if yours works, anyone know a contact email addy for anyone there (Rich??)??

    Thanks

    1. It was down for a couple of days but it’s been back up for…weeks. They switched Internet hosters (I think) and Rich advised everyone to flush their DNS. Instructions for Windows is here: http://www.tech-faq.com/how-to-flush-dns.html
If you’re not interested in all the reading, just enter “ipconfig /flushdns” at a command prompt. It should fix you up.

    2. Scott: Thank you. Did it. Still getting this: “Sorry, you don’t have permission for that!

anyone know why I might be getting this? OR how to get ahold of Rich? I’ve sent a dozen emails thru the system to “cige.com” address and no response.

      I have guns to buy!

  3. same exact thing happened to us when we moved 2 years ago… Comcast screwed up and deleted our old email addresses and for some reason weren’t able to reinstate them for 3 months.
