God bless Gabby Giffords.
She survived an attempted assassination at the hands of a lunatic in the only mass public shooting since 1955 that didn’t occur in a gun-free zone.
She didn’t run for re-election and disappeared off the map briefly, until scoring headlines of late with her new job.
What’s she doing? She’s promoting gun control.
What are her qualifications? None, really, aside from being the victim of an attempted assassination.
But organizing against assassinations isn’t a field where one can make some extra money pimping new laws against assassinations. After all, everyday Americans recognize that murder and political assassination are illegal, right?
Well, gun control is a different animal. Gabby can pimp gun control and have some extra pocket change serving as the paid head / spokesperson for a Soros-funded gun control organization, right?
They’ll pay for her travel throughout the country and all she has to do is utter a few short lines lamenting how we need more laws against what’s already illegal. Sounds like a sweet gig, if it weren’t for the fact she’s working for cause of tyranny and oppression instead of freedom and liberty.
She recently wrote in the inaugural press release for the new leftist, gun-hating organization “Americans for Responsible Solutions”:
“Until now, the gun lobby’s political contributions, advertising and lobbying have dwarfed spending from anti-gun violence groups. No longer.”
