Congressman Adam Kinzinger has never been to a Guns Save Life meeting. Heck, he probably doesn't even know who Guns Save Life is. "Guns Save Lives who?" he might mutter. His primary challenger knows though. Jim Marter's hip-deep in his campaign to unseat Kinzinger and uphold conservative values while supporting our POTUS Donald J. Trump!
He's also got good taste in shirts as he stands – literally and figuratively – with Guns Save Life and its President Steve Davis in the photo above.
Remember Kinzinger when he said he will not support Donald Trump in 2016? The same Donald Trump that has accomplished so much even without the "support" of back bencher Adam Kinzinger! From the Politico:
Rep. Kinzinger says he will not vote for Trump
Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger said Wednesday he will not support Donald Trump in November, as he becomes the latest elected Republican official to break from the party.
Kinzinger told CNN he went to the Republican National Convention and had hoped to be able to endorse Trump by the end of it. However, the former Air Force pilot said after Trump’s comments on NATO and his spat with Khizr Khan, the father of a fallen soldier who spoke at the Democratic National Convention, he doesn’t see how he could endorse him.
“Donald Trump is beginning to cross a lot of red lines of the unforgivable in politics. I'm not going to support Hillary, but in America we have the right to skip somebody,” he said on CNN.
Yeah, Kinzinger was the darling of the left and establishment Republicans when he came out against Trump. Now, nobody's heard a peep from them about the Congresscritter with the difficult to spell last name. Congressman who? Kissinger?
Meanwhile, Jim Marter stands with gun owners to the very end of the world.
Had I known then, what I know now, I never would have supported Kinzinger when he ran the first time. I am very disappointed with Adam Kinzinger, very. Claiming to be a republican from what I see he is a RINO, republican in name only. All the RINO's need to go by way of supporting real conservatives when you can find them. We should alll send a few bucks to Jim Marter to help with his campaign.
