It’s amazing how the mainstream media has does its best to restrain itself and hide the political ideology of Chris Dorner, the madman killer who is targeting cops and anyone who has supposedly wronged him in his ongoing rampage in California.
Dorner, a big fan of disarming Americans of the guns they use to defend themselves against criminal thugs… just like Dorner, is also a fringe leftist.
He may be a dead leftists as some say he’s taken a long walk in the forest and done America a favor by popping a cap in his own head, but for now, the manhunt is still on.
Unlike another public massacre in recent times when public officials blamed Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh when in fact the killer was a crazed Communist Manifesto-reading leftist (Can you say Clarence Dupnik?), we hear none of the “Blame the Right” language today. In fact, the mainstream media is busy scrubbing Dupnik’s leftists ideology from their reports. (We have his unedited manifest here, as do many others).
In the midst of all this, we found a great piece by Andrew Klavan that hits the nail on the head. Leftism is violence.
The Truth About Dorner: Leftism Is Violence
by Andrew Klavan
(PJ Media) – There’s nothing for me to add to the great work already done by SooperMexican [News Media Scrub Cop Murderer’s Manifesto of Pro-Obama, Hillary, MSNBC, CNN, Gay, and Anti-Gun Comments], Mediaite [When Crazed Shooters Can’t Be Linked To The Tea Party, Media Displays Admirable Restraint], Michelle Malkin [The Blame Righty Mob Falls Silent], Sean Hannity [Liberal hypocrisy on display over murder suspect's manifesto] and others critiquing the media coverage of alleged mad dog cop-killer Christopher Jordan Dorner. The media has been dishonest in trying to cover up Dorner’s left-wing views. They’ve been beyond hypocritical in drawing no link between Dorner’s acts and his politics — after they have repeatedly tried to link acts of violence to conservatism even when, as usual, there was no link to be made. Worst of all, as Big Government has shown [Media Portray Dorner as Whistleblower, LAPD Reopens Firing], they are beginning to try to justify the slaughter.
Most of the conservative commentators listed above have been careful to point out that connections between a madman and his politics, whether right or left, should only be drawn with caution. And they all say that it’s irresponsible to blame political commentators, right or left, for the actions of a lunatic who may have taken inspiration from them.
I’m not so sure. Violence is inherent in left-wing philosophy, and the violence it inspires should be laid at its door.
Haven’t you noticed this? The American left is always waxing hysterical about right-wing violence and the true violence always comes from the American left. The American news media cry out in horror at peaceful Tea Party demonstrations and look the other way when Occupy Wall Streeters commit vandalism, rape, and even murder. The media try to pin any political assassination attempt on conservatives; yet almost all American political assassinations are committed by the left. If you want more examples as well as proof, read Demonic by Ann Coulter — who, unlike any left-wing pundit I can think of, needs a bodyguard whenever she speaks on college campuses!
…So no, I don’t think we should be so quick to disconnect Dorner’s kill spree from the left-wing pols and pundits who inspired it. They are philosophically complicit.
Leftism is violence. It always was.
Sadly, support for the crazed leftist Chris Dorner has grown from fringe leftists, almost as if he’s a noble fighter for justice instead of a liar and murderer of innocents.
(CBS Sacramento) - …Dorner lost his job with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008. His manifesto vows revenge for that; and, surprisingly, thousands of people actually support him.
It’s hard to believe but there are those out there who sympathize with the man targeting police officers.
One Facebook page is proclaiming Dorner for president. “We propose electing a man who could no longer sit idly by and watch as malicious tyrants abuse the innocent.”
The description on “We Are All Chris Dorner” chillingly says, “Yes, this is war.”
Nearly 3,000 people like the page “I Support Christopher Jordan Dorner.”
CBS13 posted a simple question: Why? Why support a man wanted for at least three killings and the author of a murderous manifesto promising to target cops?
One sympathizer wrote us, “Because something needs to be done about the long known corruption of not only the LAPD, but several agencies.”
