Jamani, Jyair, Derek and Zha-quan had a bad night when they picked a couple of guys walking late into the evening near the Pennsylvania state capitol building to rob.
Marty Flynn, a Democrat state rep and his fellow rep Ryan Bizzarro were walking home when confronted by an apprentice thug who pulled a gun and demanded their wallets.
Flynn drew his gun instead and traded shots with the teen, sending the hoodlums fleeing for their lives.
Cops swooped in and picked up the quartet of thugs-in-training and hooked them up on a litany of charges. If it were Illinois, they would probably be out before they were legal to drink, but maybe Pennsylvania is a little more serious about putting away thugs who have decided they would kill a victim over stealing a few bucks.
We think armed robbers should be chipped, just murderers, rapists and child molesters. And we don’t mean micro-chipped.
On second thought, maybe we do mean micro-chipped as in setting the wood chipper on “extra fine” output.
HARRISBURG (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette) — A Pennsylvania state representative exchanged fire with a man who attempted to rob him blocks from the Capitol Tuesday night, according to the House Democratic leader’s office.
Rep. Marty Flynn, D-Lackawanna, and Rep. Ryan Bizzarro, D-Erie, were walking home from the Capitol area a little before 11 p.m. when they were approached by a man who pointed a gun at them and demanded their wallets, according to a press release from the Democratic leader’s office. A man across the street shouted instructions to the gunman, the statement said.
“Neither lawmaker handed over anything,” the statement said. “Flynn drew a handgun that he is licensed to carry and exchanged shots with the first male, at which time both attackers and victims ran in different directions.”
No one was struck by gunfire, said Harrisburg police Officer Paula Trovy.
Harrisburg police arrested four suspects, identified as Jamani Ellison, 17; Jyair Leonard, 15; Derek Anderson, 17; and Zha-quan McGhee, 15.
They were charged with criminal attempted homicide, conspiracy, robbery, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and carrying a firearm without a license, Officer Trovy said. The gun used in the incident was recovered, according to the police.
Another example of democrats who ” can’t shoot straight ” even if their lives are depending on it.
Slightly incorrect that neither lawmaker handed over anything. The one handed over a few pieces of lead.
This had to be a relatively close encounter. How does one not hit anything this close?
Try making hits while trying to dodge a bad guy’s aim and shoot back while someone’s shooting back at you.

Hope that rep explains to the rest of the democrats. This is the very reason why we need to be armed!
