We’re one homicide and ten people getting shot away from 500 dead and 3000 shot for the year.
Thank goodness for Chicago-style gun control (and more importantly, Chicago-style “catch and release” criminal justice) or Chicago would never have numbers like this.
Surely the thugs and criminals will hold up their end to hold on to their shameful “record”.
It’s still early and the drinking and general insanity hasn’t started yet for most. Lots of clueless tourists and suburbanites headed down to the target rich environment called Chi Town Rising.
Just over 14 hours into new year we have 2 killed 15 wounded.

Well, you guys forgot something. The way chicago fudges the numbers, they may well have gotten the 500/3000 remember, they lie for a living.

Those of you NOT in Crook or Chiraq, may have missed the CPD reported that there were 467 murders this year that was up from last year. I tend to believe HeyJackAss.com more. With 499. The difference is probably the CPD “death investigation” i.e. Body found in garage set on fire, burned so bad they can not determine if they were tied up and dead before the fire. CPD
Not to mmention the “death investigation” of a woman’s body found stuffed in a suitcase in an alley last week. Bizarre suicide or tragic holiday travel accident?
