We send our prayers and condolences to the victims’ families.

This is no time to politicize a national tragedy

  1. While we all feel bad about what happened, why is it those who don’t like guns are full of hate towards those of us who do? We didn’t kill those people!

Why don’t they direct their anger towards the nutcase who committed this atrocity?

    1. Ken,

Have you ever tried to get a gun?

Americans have no desire to return to a time when the strong victimized the weak!

Maybe if we did away with these silly no-gun zones, we would have fewer mass shootings as there would be good people to shoot back!

    2. He didn’t fire because he didn’t need to!

Your guessing someone might have been armed in that theater is suggestive that you don’t know, so nice red herring.

We do know what America would be like without guns: It would be like Mexico is today. Or the Medieval times were in general, where the strong and the amoral victimize the weak, the innocent, the young and the old.

The only thing irrational is your willful ignorance about the benefits of gun ownership.

  2. Misdirected anger and hate will solve nothing only create hate & anger.
Every time with every thing people like the one above take a shot to make this country like China with strong, maybe even absolute gun control. Well, do you really want all that comes with that? China treats its citizens horribly, devastating human rights violations, murder and do you remember Tiananmen Square?
Mexico, complete gun control, but some how they get ’em from Russia, China, South America as well as from our government.
Train the teachers and school staff how to handle this situation like others. I refer to a Massad Ayoob article: http://backwoodshome.com/blogs/MassadAyoob/2012/12/15/against-monsters/

  3. Guns saved lives because scumbag knew the cops were coming and deep down he was a coward and didn’t want to get shot, so he offed himself. Hence he stopped at one or two rooms, and not the entire school.

If one of the staff members had a gun in their desk or in their car, this would have been over so much quicker.

  4. Would you have felt better if he had used bombs, poison, arson, run them down with the monster 4X4 trucks, acid or any other form of killing?
America has become a very violent nation, has little value on life and guns are more difficult to get than any time in our history. Banning and confiscation of guns will not stop killing and violence. Just ask England.

  5. Sick of the absolutely incorrect term, ‘common sense’ which means anything but common sense. As worn out as, ‘It’s Bush’s fault’, toll.
