The gun-hating Left will promote racist, classist and sexist gun control this Saturday at noon on the north side of the courthouse square in Charleston. They are the usual suspects – likely the same ones who marched to DEFUND THE POLICE two years ago in opposition to a “Back the Blue” rally on the courthouse square in Charleston. This time, they’ll advocate for stripping their fellow Americans of their guns.
They think if they just outlaw guns that somehow we’re reach a utopia of no crime. If only. Yeah, if only we banned murder, right?
They’re going to promote gun control to make it more difficult for the people who benefit the most from firearm ownership to become gun owners. Remember, guns are the great equalizer. They make that frail, 80-year-old woman an equal to a 20-something body builder with evil in his heart.
Of course, if Americans had no guns, the young and old would be at the mercy of the strong. Women would be at the mercy of men. The disabled would be easy pickings for bad guys.
Anyway, they were set to hold the event on the more pedestrian and demonstration-friendly south side of the Coles County Courthouse but someone told us the anti-gun contingent was worried about being “ambushed” there. By whom, we don’t know.
On the other hand, if they had carry licenses and guns, they wouldn’t have to worry about it!
Anyway, join us across the street (and perhaps on the South Side of the Courthouse Square). Remember, as we aren’t part of a permitted demonstration, carry is legal.
Bring your favorite signs and flags. Share this information with your social media contacts. And most of all, come with a smile on your face. It’s going to be a fun time.

How did these “promoters” get to the square? Did any of them drive a car to get there? Do they realize last year cars killed over 40,000 people including 1000’s of children? How dare they drive cars! Give up your cars now and do it for the children.
