Ladies and gentlemen, love him or hate him, he’s back. Officially. On Tuesday evening, Donald Trump announced his run for a second term as President of the United States by saying, “America’s comeback starts right now.“
Even before the 2016 election, Donald Trump quickly became one of the most polarizing political figures in American history. During his first term in office, Americans prospered until the China Flu came along.
Trump built a legion of supporters. Meanwhile, almost as many people who hate him with a white-hot passion.
As I wrote earlier, his official entry into the 2024 race for POTUS will likely keep some until-now marginally unprofitable news outlets afloat as they return to a virtually all-Trump, all the time format. See, Donald Trump is already creating jobs!

Trump made the announcement during a much-anticipated event at Mar-a-Lago, his private estate and club in Palm Beach, Fla., just a week after a lackluster midterm election performance denied Republicans the “red wave” they had long anticipated and led to days of finger-pointing within the party.
Flanked by a dozen American flags in a gilded ballroom, Trump delivered a winding speech in which he boasted about — and often exaggerated — his record in the Oval Office and defended his party’s midterm performance, claiming that Republicans had “taken over Congress” and “fired Nancy Pelosi,” the Democratic speaker of the House.
Of other Republican midterm failures, Trump claimed that Americans had “not yet realized the full extent and gravity of the pain our nation is going through.”
“We always have known that this was not the end. It was only the beginning of our fight to rescue the American Dream,” Trump said. “In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States.”
Donald Trump certainly has a mixed record as far as gun rights are concerned. His Supreme Court and lower court nominations, however, unquestionably laid the groundwork for the landmark Bruen decision which will likely be the basis for overturning a range of unconstitutional restrictions on gun rights across the nation.
Whatever you think of him, the next two years are unlikely to be boring.

Mixed feelings! Trump is the best president in my somewhat long life, when he took office he worked to make his campaign promises a reality. He did this while the democrats fought everything he did like nothing I have ever seen. Not only that he also had the RINO’s and swamp dwellers of the republican party fighting him. But there were also times when I wished he would shut up, he never bothered me but I could see it alienating more sensitive voters. It also bothers me that he is talking about Desantis and having “dirt” on him.
Wish he had not announced so early, a lot of things can happen in two years, lets be honest someone his age your health can fail. Voted for him twice and unless something drastic happens will do so again.
I love it. Unless people only get their info from the mainstream media, I don’t see how any normal person can not support him.
I knew he would be trying again; I think it is GREAT! I wish him the best of good luck, what he has experienced, he will be difficult to counter and hopefully his hard-core supporters will help to see him through. He knows what the nasty, vile “anti’s” have done and the lies they will spread and manufacture opposing him. He has and will expose the disgusting “SWAMP RATS” for what they truly are and with God’s help and Grace will overcome the scum!
