Villager slashes 22 kids with knife at elementary school gates in China
BEIJING (NBC News) — A knife-wielding man slashed 22 children and an adult at an elementary school in central China on Friday, state media reported, the latest in a series of attacks on children in the country.
The man attacked the children at the gate of a school in Chenpeng village in Henan province, the Xinhua news agency reported.
Police arrested a 36-year-old man, identified as villager Min Yingjun, Xinhua said. It did not give further details of the extent of the injuries.
Gun-free zones afford make-believe protection from whack jobs, terrorists and criminals. Gun-free zones also embolden those intent on harming innocents because they know and understand there will be no armed good guys there to thwart their attack.
It’s time Americans re-evaluate their love for the make-believe protection “gun free” zones provide and allow card-carrying good guys the right to carry the means with which to deal with whackadoodles, islamist* terrorists and criminals.

I have a son in 1st grade and the absolute horror of this hits home. I would send him to a school with armed guards and properly licensed and trained CCW’ing teachers in a New York Second. Hell, I’d consider a career change and BE one of those teachers, or a lunch lady, or even a janitor – if it meant I could be an armed First Responder in a school.

The crickets chirping in response to it being a failure of the gun-free zone are astounding and telling.
Yet another opportunity for the Liberal Left to blame the effect while they continue to create and perpetuate the cause. I know I’m preaching to the choir here but we’ve stripped prayer and God from our schools turning them into government indoctrination centers based upon liberal pipe dreams of utopian society and wonder why God allows this kind of thing to happen. They blame God for problems they create and politicize the whole thing to further their socialist agenda. Lt. Dave Grossman’s video series “Bulletproof Mind” tells it all and foretold this exact scenario. The Left love to blame Guns for everything but just ask them what it used to stop these killers and listen to the crickets. Cops certainly don’t just walk up and take the gun away from the bad man killing innocents. They don’t politely ask him to stop and he magically complies. We guard our money in banks with armed security but not our children at school. Just what in the hell do we value any more in this world? Yet another reason my wife and I homeschool our three kids.

My 82 year old father hunted with his friends on the way to school, they all put their rifles in the schools coat closet, and then they hunted on the way home. Nobody shot anybody. I (45 now) was on the schools rifle team, and carried a rifle to school. Nobody shot anybody. My wife (from a small town, who is 36 now) spoke of all the pickups with rifles in the gun racks at school during hunting season. Nobody shot anybody. What’s changed? We don’t lock nuts up because the libs worry about their “rights”. We have embraced the liberals view of political correctness. We have had Christianity made into a joke. We have become a nation of “junk TV” watching idiots who simply accept the Gov’t rule over every aspect of our lives. We have lost honor and morality, and have welcomed the “if it feels good, do it” liberal mantra. And finally, we have become a nation of me, me, me.
