Gun-Rights-Policy-Conference

Bellevue, WA – With an eye on this year’s mid-term elections and important pending Capitol Hill legislation, the 33rd annual Gun Rights Policy Conference is scheduled for September 21-23, 2018 in Chicago.

Co-hosted by the Second Amendment Foundation and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, this year’s event is being held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. It will bring together gun rights advocates and grassroots activists from all corners of the country, along with visitors from other nations where gun rights movements are in their infancy.

This year’s featured speakers will include SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb, SAF President Joseph Tartaro and a host of leaders in the Second Amendment community. Included in the weekend activities is the annual Saturday awards luncheon. This year’s event features a full schedule of panel discussions on a variety of Second Amendment-related topics, from elections to legal activities.

More than 75 speakers will participate in a wide range of panel discussions covering topics including political action, upcoming legal battles, using social media and expanding grassroots activities.  Guns Save Life will be there as well this year!

SAF and CCRKBA leaders will be joined by representatives from the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Gun Owners of America, the National Rifle Association and other gun rights organizations. There will also be media specialists and experts on national and international affairs.

The weekend event typically attracts more than 500 gun owners, activists and experts from across the country. Attendance is free, and on-line registration is available here.

Conference activities kick off Friday evening with a reception, and the main events Saturday, Sept. 22 & Sunday, Sept. 23. The Hyatt Regency O’Hare is located at 9300 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Rosemont, IL 60018.

    1. Here's the thing I don't get. Why would a pro gun group book at a hotel owned by JB the Hut and his brother who gives big money to anti gun organizations?

That said, both my wife and I are going. We just aren't staying at that hotel.

  1. Boch said the door from the garage was not posted.  Supposedly Some other entrances are posted.  Who knows.  They may have issues with other signs, making it just fine to carry.  I signed up.  I’m not going to worry about it.

  2. Almost everything in Rosemont is posted including restaurants that are not posted elsewhere. Gibson's is not posted in downtown Chicago, nor in Oak Brook, but it is posted in Rosemont.
