Are right-wing gun owners aching to start a race war?

The Daily Caller brings us a story today about a Ivory Tower leftist philosophy professor at the City University of New York who has warned her fellow leftists that yes, those crazy, right-wing white folks with guns may just start a race war against Latinos as a result of President Barack Hussein “Santa Claus” Obama’s re-election.

Continuing the recent trend of liberals to divide America by race, gender, religion, income, job type, national origin, ear lobe type, and dialect style, Linda Martin Alcoff contends “No other group can realistically pose a threat of ballooning numbers like we can.”

After the event, Linda Martin Alcoff was asked about the likelihood or time frame for this all happening, and the only response was the sound of crickets chirping.

The cat must have gotten Linda’s tongue.

Frankly, it would seem Linda Martin Alcoff, whose Twitter avatar is people standing on the American Flag, is displaying the classic signs of psychological projection.

Psychological projection or projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person subconsciously denies his or her own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, usually to other people. Thus, projection involves imagining or projecting the belief that others originate those feelings.[1]

Projection reduces anxiety by allowing the expression of the unwanted unconscious impulses or desires without letting the conscious mind recognize them.

An example of this behavior might be blaming another for self failure. The mind may avoid the discomfort of consciously admitting personal faults by keeping those feelings unconscious, and by redirecting libidinal satisfaction by attaching, or “projecting,” those same faults onto another person or object.

The theory was developed by Sigmund Freud—in his letters to Wilhelm Fliess, ‘”Draft H” deals with projection as a mechanism of defence’[2]—and further refined by his daughter Anna Freud, why it is sometimes referred to as Freudian Projection.[3]

What is Epistemology?

It’s a branch of philosophy that investigates the origin, nature, methods, and limits of human knowledge.

No offense to epistemologists, but it might be akin to a degree in underwater basket weaving for those who want to impress themselves with their great knowledge about something that really matters.  (Cough cough).

Anyway, here’s the story from the Daily Caller:

City University professor: Whites may start race war against Latinos

(Daily Caller) – A professor from the City University of New York warned last week that white people may launch a “race war” against Latinos as a result of President Barack Obama’s re-election.

Linda Martín Alcoff, a philosophy professor, made the remark during a guest lecture at Columbia University. She was invited to speak by the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at Columbia.

Demographic factors are causing white people to lose their political power to the rising Latino population, Alcoff argued.

“No other group can realistically pose a threat of ballooning numbers like we can,” said Alcoff, who is Hispanic. “It’s not like the Jews in Germany, where they were like 3 percent of the population and there was no real economic threat.”

Alcoff pointed to increases in gun sales and the growth of right-wing hate groups as evidence that white people see Latinos as a threat and may be preparing for a race war with them.

Alcoff did not respond to requests for a clarification of her opinion on the likelihood of a race war breaking out between whites and Latinos. The center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity also did not respond to requests for comment.

  1. I just gotta laugh at you idiots..

everyone’s a racist except the white supremacy people.

    LOL

no wonder the white presidential candidate lost. the rightwing have gone off the deep end… and we know who you are.

  2. Readers take note of how “set” played fast an lose with the text of this and the Daily Caller article. At least according to these sources, Alcoff never said a fricken’ thing about “white supremacy people”. She only mentioned “white people”. So it’s clear that “set” thinks that “white people” is synonymous with “white supremacy people.”

So he knows who we are. So? Bring it.

  3. Why do we call liberals, “liberals” when they’re not liberal at all. They are narrow minded and want to impose their beliefs on everyone around them.
