What a sleazeball.  Harvey Weinstein, the Democrat megadonor and Hillary supporter, says he's going to devote his full-time attention to attacking the NRA.  That is, if he can keep his hands off his female employees.  The New York Times reports on nearly three decades worth of sexual harassment complaints – including eight big settlements – in Weinstein's past.

New York Times reports:

Two decades ago, the Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein invited Ashley Judd to the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel for what the young actress expected to be a business breakfast meeting. Instead, he had her sent up to his room, where he appeared in a bathrobe and asked if he could give her a massage or she could watch him shower, she recalled in an interview.

[…]

In 2014, Mr. Weinstein invited Emily Nestor, who had worked just one day as a temporary employee, to the same hotel and made another offer: If she accepted his sexual advances, he would boost her career, according to accounts she provided to colleagues who sent them to Weinstein Company executives. The following year, once again at the Peninsula, a female assistant said Mr. Weinstein badgered her into giving him a massage while he was naked, leaving her “crying and very distraught,” wrote a colleague, Lauren O’Connor, in a searing memo asserting sexual harassment and other misconduct by their boss.

[…]

An investigation by The New York Times found previously undisclosed allegations against Mr. Weinstein stretching over nearly three decades, documented through interviews with current and former employees and film industry workers, as well as legal records, emails and internal documents from the businesses he has run, Miramax and the Weinstein Company.

During that time, after being confronted with allegations including sexual harassment and unwanted physical contact, Mr. Weinstein has reached at least eight settlements with women, according to two company officials speaking on the condition of anonymity.

He kind of, sort of admits to "misbehavior" in his "apology", from The Wrap.

I appreciate the way I’ve behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a lot of pain, and I sincerely apologize for it.

Though I’m trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go. That is my commitment. My journey now will be to learn about myself and conquer my demons. Over the last year, I’ve asked Lisa Bloom to tutor me, and she’s put together a team of people. I’ve brought on therapists, and I plan to take a leave of absence from my company and to deal with this issue head on. I so respect all women, and regret what happened.

He soooooo respects all women.  His idea of respect is pretty pathetic, if his accusers are to be believed:  her offer then career advancement by sleeping with him?  That's respect?  Sounds more like an inept beta male's sleazy pick-up tactics.  I suppose if you cannot attract women with your charm and personality, there's always ether or blackmail.

He also says he's going to go after the NRA.  Giving it his full attention.

I am going to need a place to channel that anger, so I’ve decided that I’m going to give the NRA my full attention. I hope Wayne LaPierre will enjoy his retirement party. I’m going to do it at the same place I had my Bar Mitzvah.

  1. Most people are real tired of guys like these and their phony agendas. Some will talk about it, some won't but most people are real sick of it. Give 'em enough rope and they'll hang their own agendas.

  2. I think Weinstein will work with Planned Parenthood as a "SPOKESPERSON" for governement paid BIRTH CONTROL.

  3. Mr. Bigmouth is going to have bigger problems to deal with than the NRA.  I would guess the line of lawyers and women looking to come out of the woodwork are a mile long, and the more that come out the faster and farther the leftist cowards will run to get away from him.

  4. These women are going to want compensation for fat man's unseamly, unwanted and ungentlemanly advances.  But, according to the libs in Hollywood, he's a "God".

I wonder if the price to become a female lead in his films was to spend time in his hotel room.  And how many scores of woman "interviewed" and did not get the roles.
