KORE EDC Gun Belt: 1st Impressions

February 3, 2018

Kore Belt

Anybody that carries a handgun daily can tell you that fighting your pants sagging is a constant issue.  So what can we do about it?  The answer is pretty simple get a better belt to help keep your pants up while you carry.

This is where the Kore EDC gun belt comes in.  According to Kore's web site no more awkward belt holes, Kore's concealed carry gun belts use a simple, but effective, hidden track system to give you a perfect fit every day. Our virtually indestructible track is stitched into the back of a reinforced belt, to provide over forty size points to choose from. The result is the ability to adjust your belt in small ¼-inch increments. This simple innovation makes Kore gun belts 800% more adjustable over traditional gun belts with holes. The release tab beneath the belt buckle lets you adjust, or slide our track belt on, or off in seconds.

When the belt I ordered arrived today it was in a simple bag.  The belt and the buckle were separate.  In less than 5 minutes I had the belt cut to length and installed following their simple instructions.  I expected the track system to be easy to use but was pleasantly surprised by the precision of fit I got both with and without my IWB holster and gun on.

Doing house work, chasing the kids, running errands in town the belt so far has been very comfortable and has shown next to no sag which is a major plus over the belt I had gotten from the big box store.  The style of the belt I ordered will work for the range and also for every day use including at my place of work which is an office environment.

So how much does it cost?  The model I got was $50 but on Kore’s web site they range from $30-$70 and additional buckles are $4 each.

More updates to come in the future but I can honestly say 1st impressions it was well worth the $50.

You deserve a good belt in the pants! Makes EDC much easier and comfortable.

Another company to look at is Versacarry.com. They make leather gun dedicated belts at very reasonable price (including my fave the double ply). They often have deep discounts around calendar holidays.

Thanks for the feedback.  We are looking into testing other products and I will contact veracarry about possibly getting one of their belts to test.

I’ve owned the brown Kore gun belt for a year, and love it! Had to wait after Christmas for a black one. Great Gun Belts!
