Rally1

Join us this Sunday for a genuine grassroots rally to support gun rights in Bloomington, IL.  The event will kick off at 1:30pm on the sidewalk in front of the Bloomington Center for Performing Arts at 600 North East Street, Bloomington.  Diane Benjamin from BLN News is organizing the event and Guns Save Life encourages our members and friends to join the rally.

No permits have been issued, which means concealed carry is a-okay.  We will stay on the sidewalk.

That free men shall not be debarred the concealed carrying of arms should serve as a fair warning for local Antifa-types who might want to crash the gun rights event with clubs, sticks, spears or other unlawful weapons.

Rally2

Bring signs, flags and a big smile.  It'll be a great time.  The weather should be sunny, with temps near 50.  Bring the whole family!

  1. Is this being sponsored by Guns Save Lives or is it a Diane Benjamin (Kevin Gerrard) event?

  2. It’s a great idea.  I also like the guy in the green Illinois Carry shirt. Nice

  3. Comment on Facebook from the former director of the McLean County History Museum sand brother of Normal's mayor:

Greg Koos The implicit threat of gun violence contained in the notice is all you need to know about the event.

    1. Thank you for sharing, Diane. Is this not accurate for what is described? If they should dare oppose you with sticks and stones you shall break their bones with your concealed protection. That's the perceived threat from:

I hope he shared it with all the leftists who dream of playing "Black Block" in Bloomington…

Given how Bock triggered him, I'd say Bloomington's finest will be present in a big way to further ensure our safety!  It'll be so safe you won't need your Roscoe.  It's a thing of beauty!

    3. Sounds like this Koos guy isn't used to being around men who will fight to protect themselves and their families.

  4. Need more concealed and carry. Don’t take away our rights as American citizens!

  5. So people will be celebrating their right to carry concealed guns by having/ carrying concealed weapons on their persons during this rally because “ no permits have been issued”? I do not understand. Please explain.

    1. Illinois' CCW law prohibits CCW by participants at rallies where a permit has been issued.

Ironically, if Diane had gotten a permit, counter-demonstrators could have carried legally, with a CCW license.  While those pro-civil rights participants walked around completely unarmed and vulnerable to attack, either via firearm like the leftist kook that tried to shoot up the Republican charity baseball team last year, or with clubs, sticks, knives, spears or fists as has happened to so many other pro-America, pro-freedom rallies in the past two years.

  6. It is quite cowardly to a) believe people are going to come after you with sticks and clubs becasue they disagree with you and b) threaten them. Grow up.

    1. It is more cowardly to post a comment and not post your name…..just saying

    2. Is it though, Jon? The fair warning is that we conceal so don't dare mess with us. That's an obvious reason not to be using their real name. It's not a fair fight in person so no fair fight online.

  7. I'm just curious if a anti fascist WWII vet shows up does your group belittle him or praise him or is it a double standard where he's cool for fighting Nazi, but it's not cool for today's anti fascist to fight Facsim?

  8. In Illinois, if a rally has a permit, CCW is prohibited.  This rally apparently has no permit.  Hence CCW welcome.

As for Antifa antics, I would venture to guess most peaceful, pro-America folks at countless other rallies never expected to be attacked by masked thugs.

    I am bringing my family.
