This woman is running for Jesse Jackson Jr.’s former Congressional seat in a district marked by low-information voters.  She’s widely expected to win the seat by a comfortable margin, and it’s not surprising that she’s a low-information individual herself, making her a low-information legislator.

She was at a community forum recently and asked about right-to-carry.

Given the opportunity to expound upon her ignorance for all to know, she took full advantage of it.

She expressed her utter lack of reading comprehension, between stammering out a score of “uh”s, in explaining the recent Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals decision and then went on to blame the victims of the theater glory killing in Colorado last summer for not stopping the attacker.

“They had conceal and carry but nobody pulled out their guns.”

This ignorant witch apparently didn’t know that guns were prohibited in that theater, making it the only theater within 20 minutes of the reprobate glory killer’s apartment that was marked “no guns”.  It wasn’t the biggest theater.  It wasn’t the closest theater to the glory killer’s apartment.  It was the only theater marked “no guns”, giving the killer a room full of sheep to massacre, instead of risking return fire from armed theater goers.

But low-information voter favorite Democrat Robin Kelly, on her way to become “their” representative, has no idea about this and instead blames unarmed people for not pulling out their non-existent guns.  How disgusting and vile.

Imagine if someone had blamed the slaves for not pulling out their guns when they were sold into slavery hundreds of years ago, either in Africa or later in America…  don’t you think Robin Kelly would find that a little disgusting and vile?  I know we certainly would.

Robin Kelly: Conceal and Carry Failed in Aurora Shooting’s Gun-Free Theater

(Breitbart) – A Democrat running for Jesse Jackson Jr.’s seat in Congress attacked the idea of concealed-carry firearms by citing the victims of the Aurora theater shooting, who could not defend themselves in a gun-free zone.

Robin Kelly, candidate in the IL-02 congressional election, claimed Thursday evening that victims of 2012’s Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting failed to “pull out their guns to kill the gentleman that did all the damage that he did.”

Kelly, who faces Republican Paul McKinley in the April special election to replace Jackson, was speaking at her own one-person candidate forum, which she had convened rather than attend an NAACP-sponsored candidate debate with her opponent. Kelly made the controversial statement while arguing against conceal and carry rights for the residents of her district and the state of Illinois.

She told the audience, “in the movie [theater], they have conceal and carry, but nobody pulled out their guns to kill the gentleman that did all the damage that he did.”

  1. So when the ILGA comes back into session the Republicans are going to declare open season on the low information legislators called “Chicago Democrats”, right?

As disheartening as watching the 1155 “debates” was, I’d say it was worth it if both barrels are unloaded upon the banners when session resumes. I’d be pleasantly surprised to see Republicans drop the hammer of straightforward actuality upon the machine. Unfortunately, if what we’ve seen so far is any indication of what’s to come, major disappointment is afoot.

I’d love to be wrong about that but I suspect that many Illinois “republicans” are so progressive that a good portion of that partys membership would expose themselves as low information legislators themselves just the same. It sure would explain the 1155 “debate” debacle. This might make some uncomfortable and it might make others angry that I write it and say it out loud. To them I say, well, lets see a session full of defenders of the Republican form of government step up to the plate and have every gun banner looking as foolish and uninformed as this Bloomberg puppet looks.
What better way to put an exclamation point on the next election.

Or the “republicans” could just make another “deal” with the uneducated fruit loops and prepare to run a campaign where constituents ask them at every campaign event why they did so……

  2. The low information voters of the district who keep voting in blacks to represent them deserve her.

  3. Chicago runs Illinois from the Governor down, and this is their IQ level on guns.Test for dummies-automatic vs semiautomatic,—clips vs magazines,—-Intellegence vs ignorance, call Illinois and be told Chicago

  4. This is the young lady that Bloomburg bought heart, body and vote so she could beat Halverson. She now has no option but to vote as Bloomburg directs.
Typical of anti gun fans, agenda is more important than truth.

  5. Nobody pulled out their gun, so really there should be no opposition because everyone will leave their gun safely in their holster, right? *eye roll* It’s about individuals having the choice, to use certain tools, in situations where they believe they can, against any number of threats. No one said that concealed carry will turn everyone into superman, impervious to all comers, but it’s a fighting chance, far far better than being unarmed. Sheesh. First someone has to choose to use it and be prepared to do so.

  6. The an hominem attack by the pro gun group demonstrates their utter lack of a valid argument. The fact that they also attacked her constituents shows their disdain and prejudice toward an entire class of people. Their intense defense of own a gun reflects their cowardice and paranoia. They are unwilling to discuss, listen, or to show concern for all the victims of gun violence.
