Five companies, thus far, have communicated their intention not to sell to any police or government agencies in New York State.

Guns Save Life is joining with Grass Roots North Carolina in calling for all American gun owners to pressure Sig Sauer, Smith and Wesson and Glock to shut off sales to government agencies in New York State.

If you know executives in any of these companies, email them directly.  If not, we’ve got some email addresses below for you.

Keep it short and sweet.  Long missives will not be read, so save your time for constructive endeavors.

Here’s a suggested message, tweaking on GRNC’s suggested message:   We don’t live in a police state: If it can’t be sold to citizens, it won’t be sold to State and local government.

  1. I am not a threat to anyone. But I will support any company who makes New York State and soon New Jersey State Police Forces on boycott.

    1. The same thing should happen to the state of California, and any other state that has the same type laws.

    2. Great to see these companies do what is right. They have character.
That is a big part of what is missing in today’s society.

    3. It is like you have people coming over and eating your food everyday. Then they go and in front of your face tell you how bad it was and how evil you are. Come to Kentucky we will treat you as you deserve.

    4. For those New Yorkers and others I would like you to investigate a move to New Hampshire (web search: liberty, New Hampshire).
To weapon manufactures I would encourage your companies to investigate joining this action in support of The Constitution and Bill of Rights.

    5. Hey man, you give me a good job, I’d be glad to move to New Hampshire. I’ve been a martial arts instructor my entire adult life, and I’m a part school owner. It’s not as easy for some to just, pack up and move, even if we’d like to.

    6. No, it’s not easy. It’s downright difficult, but is your freedom worth so little to you that you are unwilling to inconvenienced a little? Are you truly willing to surrender your rights for the comfort of familiarity?
It is your choice, of course, but by continuing to pay taxes in NY, you are complicitly supporting their agenda.

    7. You should not have to leave “YOUR” state. It belongs to the people not the politicians. However it is the peoples obligation to stand up to the politicians.

    8. I totally understand your thinking on moving but at the same time this is what the Jews did before the were sent to the camps to face death. Somewhere there must be a beginning to hold on to moral and even just living. Once there is no people for them to police, where will they go and what will they do! Let Bloomberg start his own city and cook his own food.

    9. Hey Tom,
We were looking into moving to NH, when I found that NH is getting heavily invested, or should I say infested, with the U.N.’s Agenda 21 malignant environmentalism crap. Yours is called The Granite State Future. Better check it out and read up on the real facts about this by a Tim Carter before inviting people to NH. Your freedom is also going away unless you all stand up and fight. In VT, it’s being called ECOS.

    10. Two things on that: someone has to fight Agenda 21, so if you go there, it’s your duty to fight it.

Also, Agenda 21 is EVERYWHERE, and it keeps popping back up. We are going to have to fight for gun rights and against Ag. 21 everywhere we go. THATS OUR DUTY.

    11. If you move to Vermont, and expect to survive, the only advice I can give is move to Chittenden County. That is where the ECOS Project is located. Don’t move to Northern Vermont (Franklin/Grand Isle) or you will be worse off than you are now. From what I have experienced, it has the worst school system in the U.S., only temp jobs…and only with a Canadian-based company, and housing costs and food costs are outrageous. If I wasn’t so busy trying to survive here, I’d move back down south. (I can’t even sell my house according to what the State has set for it’s value.) We’re stuck. If you move here, you probably will be too.

    12. I moved to New Hampshire from New York last year because I was downright sick and tired of all the BS. Looks like I moved just in time as I own many guns. The freedom here is crazy compared to the police state of NY. Drop everything and move!

    13. Congratulations on your move to NH, Jerry. And I would like everyone to recall: Florida, too, is a very gun friendly state. Over 1 milion concealed carry permits now. And the winters are truly wonderful down here. No state income tax. Mostly Republican lawmakers. Many northerners already live here. Come on down.

    14. @Michael Edwards
I also live in Fl and yes the winters are mild and FL is a 2nd ammendment proponent state, however, your statement that many Northerners already live here does not sit well with me. The Northern interlopers that live in this state are concentrated in South and Central FL and are liberal minded which clearly allowed the Democrats to squeak by an election victor for this administration who clearly wants to remove our 2nd ammendment rights. I have no problem with anyone moving into this state who believes in the absolute sovereign right of the State of FL and the Constitution of the US, however, I dont believe anyone should move to this state if they only believe in the 2nd ammendment and lean liberally on other issues. Harry Reid is a example of this thinking – the NRA has been supporting him for years (wrongly in my opinion) and now its is coming back to bit them. So please, if you are not aligned with the Constitution as the Founding Fathers intended, dont infect our state.

    15. Try GA or AL. We have a fix for any gun laws in these states. We ignore them if they should come to pass.

    16. We should not only SUPPORT those companies who stand with us, their customers, but NOT SUPPORT those companies who side with the offending agncies. If there are any existing contracts they must honor, then when those agreements run out, they (the gun manufacturer’s ) should not renew their agreement. We would further suggest that civilian orders for their products take presedence over the NY (and perhaps other States following suit)order requirements. If it is not good for the civilians why should it be good for the government? From the good people at Builders4The2ndAmendment.com on facebook

    17. Yeah, who sold the government the 21 million rounds of hollow point just recently, and who sold them the billion rounds before that? I don’t want to do business with that company!

    18. Retired LEO here. I’ve finally got some time and coin to pursue my interest in shooting. Interesting to find our where I’ll be investing that coin. Decline to sell to Dictators & get my attention.

    19. Send this email to other gun-related manufacturers…

      Hello,

As a customer of yours, I needed let you know that my future purchases of firearms, ammunition and related accessories will ONLY be those produced by companies which have publicly taken a pro-Constitutional stance on firearm legislation and have publicly denounced laws restricting the Constitutional rights of my fellow, law-abiding Americans.
I would like to respectfully suggest, and offer my support for, the temporary adoption of company policies which prevent or severely restrict the sale and/or delivery of your products to federal, state, and local agencies located in areas that have passed strict firearm regulations like those recently passed in the State of New York.
The following six companies, thus far, have communicated their intention not to sell to any law enforcement or government agencies in New York State.
      – LaRue Tactical
      – Olympic Arms
      – Extreme Firepower Inc, LLC
      – Templar Custom
      – York Arms
      -Cheaper Than Dirt

I know you are probably busier now than you have ever been, so I would like to sincerely thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to read an email from a loyal customer.

    1. I am under no obligation to be “polite” to people who want to throw me into a concentration camp. They already think we’re “jerks,” or they wouldn’t be trying to do this to us in the first place.

  2. It may not be a bad idea to include Ruger in the list of who to contact. They have been pretty supportive against attacks on the 2nd recently. I know it hasn’t always been that way with them, but unless a bigger company does this it won’t really matter. I appreciate the companies that have already stepped up and I am not criticizing them but Companies like Glock, S&W, Ruger, Sig hold a greater share in the LE firearm market. I know that NYPD uses Ruger mini 14s and Glock 19s. I’m sure there are many more but those are the 2 that I have knowledge of.
I would also like to see companies like LMT, SA, RRA here in Illinois do the same thing. I would reward that with my wallet. Not all at once though.
I sent emails to some of them and will to the others ASAP. Just hope I’m not issued a Lorcerin one day.

    1. it would be great if springfield armory ,DSA,rock river arms,r guns ,krebbs and anyone else in Illinois would boycott new york and any other states law enforcement agencies who attack the 2nd amendment they’ll be lucky to keep their doors open here with the way things are going this liberal shithole state will probably fall to the communists like new yorkactually I’m surprised we weren’t first

    2. got to include Federal and all other Ammo makers! and distributors like Dicks, Gander mountain, Herb Philipsons, and so on!!!

    3. They also use S&W, SIG, Colt(M4) too. E-mail them and let them know how you feel and F! Bloomberg!!!

  3. Now if only Glok, S&W, Colt, Ruger, Bersa, and the rest of them would follow suit, maybe NY legislators would get the message.

    1. Proposed Colorado legislation! Magpul has just announced that if they pass it they will leave Colorado.

This is a bad policy that you/they are promoting here. Lets ban those states! Don’t you think that’s what Obama and crew want?!! States that are typically democrat slowly passing the same legislation. Those states will die like fruit on the vine, and don’t think you’ll be unscathed They’ll move next on you, but by then it’ll be too late because those populations will have already become “used to it.” Instead of ignoring NY and whining about it and cutting off the millions who fight against Cuomo why not support us? Draw a line in the sand and fight it. Urge your own representatives to fight it and to send letters to their fellow senators which hopefully will have a trickle down effect. This is exactly what the liberal left wants of you. Boycotts.

You can hide your head in the sand all you want and pretend it won’t happen to you, and it may not for some years to come, but it eventually will if you just roll over and cut off people in States who are fighting it who are JUST LIKE YOU, but it’ll catch up eventually. Slowly but surely it’ll become an epidemic. Why do you think the NRA doesn’t want to give an inch ever on gun control? BECAUSE IT’S NOT ABOUT GUNS! IT’S ABOUT CONTROL! And that is a slippery slope. Something they know very well.

This is the first part of that slippery slope and a good part of Washington and Cuomo’s cronies are LAUGHING AT YOU for a ban they fully approve of. They don’t care about jobs or sales, they’re LIBERALS! They’d have us all on welfare dependent on the government for everything. This is what they want!

How do you not all see that? At most I could see not supplying the New York State Police who are directly under Cuomo, but the vast majority of Upstate PD’s and Sheriff’s are actively working against this. Several Counties have already made referendums not supporting this so called “SAFE ACT”. Get involved, don’t do what they want you to do.

  4. This should include a request to ammo manufacturers that they cancel all orders to federal agencies…DHS, ATF, FBI and Social Security (that’s right… they’ve order a boat load of ammo, and for what?).

    1. Most federal agencies are sucking up ammo to dry the market out. So we go and buy any weapon you choose but it won’t mean anything without the ammo.

    2. Whatever the reason, call your local representative, (hopefully a Republican) and ask why tax dollars are being used for these purposes? It is not just ammo, but hollow points that are on order. What do you need hollow points for , to use their phrase, “hunt deer”, these agencies don’t hunt, and why hollow points for target practice. {unless the target is a moving law abiding citizen}. Remember Obama little publicised quote during the 2008 election, he wanted to have a private army in the US. Well connect the dots. From the good people at Builders4The2ndAmendment.com on facebook

    3. That might be why the .40 and 9mm ammo is hard to get but it doesn’t explain why bulk .22 is impossible to find. I think we the people are buying it all up. I’ve been buying every chance I get. Fortunately I have a .327 🙂 Not much call for it yet.

    4. I fixed up an earlier version I found. Cut, paste and fill in your particulars…

      Hello,

  5. This is a step in the right direction but won’t really have any impact until the big boys start doing the same.

    1. Agreed – that’s why we need to spread the word! I don’t know what percentage of sales the LE community makes up for these companies, but I’d guess it is fairly low. I have no problem limiting my business to companies willing to take a stand. Silence from the major companies is the same as compliance in my book.

  6. I am a Police Officer in the North East. I am, and will always be a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment for everyone, both civilians and police alike. The major Gun Manufacturers need to get on board with this. New York State and New York City specifically, has gone crazy with their gun control. Gun violence in NYC is not, nor will it ever go on decline because of gun control. Gun control only effects the law abiding. The criminal will always find a way to arm him / herself.

If the major manufacturers boycott New York Police, it will surely get a message across.

    1. Kudos to you. Nice to know there is one police officer in support of the people and the 2nd amendment. Thank you.

    2. Don’t be ignorant, 98% of all cops out there oppose gun control and support the constitution. We are out there everyday and know first hand what a waste of time ‘gun control’ is. An armed society is a polite society. The cops are short handed just like everybody else and response time is slow. Take care of yourself and your family we will help when we get there.

    3. The other 2 percent may work in Elmira, NY. My son may end up with 10-15 years in a maximum security prison. He had his CCW and 3 clips in the middle console of his truck. just heard more details last night about the arrest. This is all dirty! I am amazed at the corruption! This is a first offense and he has government security clearance! afreepeopleoughttobearmed.blogspot.com

    4. If you truly are a majority in PD’s across the country, and I have no doubt you are, it’s time to get your union involved. Police unions have plenty of political capital, and it’s time they earn what you pay them in dues! DEMAND your union take action to stop gun control measures like the Safe Act.

Honestly, I know what I’m asking is impossible. Officers would never get the union to stand up to Democratic lawmakers.

At least I can dream, right?

    5. Worked in the jail of my home-town Sheriffs Office for 31 years, and I know for a FACT, that when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.I’ll have to admit that there IS a sizeable percentage of officers that want to have the only guns, (mostly the younger ones). And They Are Going To Have To Be Watched, if we’re to keep a watch on Freedom. Most of us codgers Know they’re Nuts, and we don’t Want them deciding who gets to be armed.

    6. It seems to me most of the police around the country support the second amendment. Perhaps they should just stop supplying the military. They are the ones we are going to have to contend with in the end. I’d rather they not be better armed than we are when they turn on U.S. citizens.

    7. Glad I was born in high mountains & sage brush country. Our county just passed an ordinance forbidding any so called “gun control”. Also I would not worry too much about any U,S. military enforcing these draconian actions. We should be concerned about United Nations “peace keepers” being deployed in the U.S. to help maintain “order”
NOTE: several truck loads of razor & concertina wire with dark skined military personnel wearing blue berets & unable to speak english were seen in eastern Oregon 20 or so years ago.

  7. I think any firearm or ammunition manufacture that has a production facility in New York state should close it’s door and move to a gun friendly state!

  8. can we add Massachusetts to the list to have the companies boycott, I read my governors proposal for even more strict gun control, and Massachusetts residents already have enough restrictions on our second amendment rights

  9. There’s enough consumer demand right now that any gov orders that are lost will easily be snapped up by the private sector. There’s no reason NOT to make a stand on this issue.

  10. Need to get Savage on that list with their nail driving tactical bolt rifle. NYSP SWAT uses them. (you remember that infamous Shoot a fly off your buddies target)

  11. ++++++++++ This is what I wrote: ++++++++++

As a FREE MAN I humbly ask you not to sell or repair any firearm, or parts thereof to any state and/or local government official, office or agency in the state of New York, as they blatantly infringe on the second amendment rights of American Citizens.

Supporting individuals or agencies with your firearms or parts thereof, or performing any repair thereof, is paramount to treason against We The People, Law abiding Citizens of the United States Of America, and aiding those who want to take our Constitutionally granted liberties away.

    Thank you for your consideration;

    1. You are lumping together people who are just like you with people like Cuomo who don’t care about rights, but only “agenda.” Many LE’s upstate as well as most Sheriff’s departments have denounced the “law.” Many have already said their oath is to the constitution and not to Cuomo. Support us instead of banning us.

    2. Maybe if you don’t have a working firearm or ammunition to go into it, you will refuse to go out on the streets and NY will have to do something about its anti-Americanism.
Better yet go out on strike before it comes to a point where you cannot protect yourself or others. We really don’t want you unarmed.

    3. We cannot strike and you won’t be able to starve us on ammo. Instead support those agencies and counties (growing weekly) who are fighting back against Cuomo and his under the table midnight hour law making.

    4. I would change “granted” to “protected”. The document was written to shield us from a government looking to infringe on our rights, not grant those. Other than that, purty good.

  12. I agree to put MA on the list but the law enforcement here use glocks…My family members in law enforcement carry glock 9 mm weapons…I agree with this movement going to the larger gun companies and ammunition suppliers as well…

  13. Stand together and become united. Thats the only way this can be stopped and statement made. I’m in Texas but this has to be national support. Brothers in Arms if you will.

  14. I could understand these companies banning sales to the New York State Police but the majority of Upstate Police agencies, including my own, as well as the majority of the Sheriff’s Departments DO NOT support the “Safe Act.” In fact many (growing daily) have said that their oath is to the constitution and not to unconstitutional laws made in secret in the 11th hour of the evening and that they WILL NOT ENFORCE THIS LAW.

As such I don’t think it’s right to blacklist all of us especially since there are big movements going on in the state to fight this. Instead support us. Several counties have publicly denounced the “law” and issued formal letters to the governor with more following each week. We are talking areas containing millions of people who are making known to corrupt Albany politicians who vote party line each and every time. There are several lawsuits already against this which I believe will have a high percentage of success. Support is crumbling in Albany and even some of the corrupt politicians who put us in this place are admitting the law bears many flaws. Cuomo wishes to be president and feels this is his ticket. Lets make it backfire in his face.

    1. I do feel sorry for the officers who will suffer due to the overreach of politicians in your state, John. However, I haven’t heard a peep from police unions in these states such as New York. Your union is supposed to be your voice in the political arena. If the vast majority of officers are against this legislation, then it’s time for your union to represent you, and demand that these gun restrictions be abolished. Until you can convince your union to do what they SHOULD be doing rather than what is best for their coffers, I’m all for putting as much pressure on state agencies as possible, as well as boycotting companies who continue to service those agencies.

    2. What are you talking about? Many have come out against this law. The New York Sheriff’s Association has already denounced the parts of restricting so called “assault” weapons, they for the most part only support the mental health checks.

If you haven’t heard anything it’s because you are not LISTENING. How about all the counties that are opposing it? Oswego County just joined this week. More and more are stepping out because their citizens demand it.

Those companies above are FOOLISH for banning us. Who do they think they are hurting? Only citizens. Cuomo’s laughing in his mansion right now that they won’t ship to NY now. It’s playing right into his plan. This is what he wants.

    3. I understand many officers are against restrictions. I am taliking about the lack of pressure applied to your unions! Opposition by the group you mention is NOT the unions that are supposed to serve the LEOs when it comes to political issues. When the FOP puts out a statement against the safe act, I will be happy to say I am wrong.

  15. I am also a LEO and strongly support the 2nd Ammendment. I as well as every LEO swore an oath to protect the Constitution and agree that all major gun and ammunition manufacturing companies need to let them know that it is not up to a bunch of liberal yahoos to decide what type of weapon or how much ammunition that it holds. I say lock and load. Don’t let the bad guys come out on top. This is just what they are waiting for. Give every law abiding citizen a chance to protect themselves however they see fit.

  16. The gun makers should be jumping on this and showing their support for the second amendment. If they are not willing to engage in a boycott of those states, they are supplying their most powerful enemy.

  17. I would like to thank these companies for supporting our 2nd amendment rights. I would also like to encourage companies that sell ammunition to refuse to sell to any govt. agency, and only sell to the public. Ammunition has been extremely hard to obtain for the general public, and as we all know, guns without ammunition end up being paperweights.

  18. I am glad to see that not everyone is jumping on the bandwagon of doing away with the 2nd amendment. I don’t even own a gun. But now with all this going on I want to purchase a grip of guns. And where as before I would have went through the proper channels to get said guns. Now I am considering other options. Why would I tell the enemy what I had at my disposal. I saw a movie once where only the police and army had guns. It was called “Schindlers List.” I won’t sit down and be any ones victim not even the United States Government.

    1. I say start buying that grip of guns now.
…one from each of these first few companies to take this commendable stance!
I think there are millions of gun owners who wish they had made their Jan/Feb gun purchases from these guys instead of whomever else got that business.

  19. We don’t live in a police state;if it can’t be sold to citizens,it won’t be sold to states and local governments !

  20. “Hello,

As a customer of yours, I would like to send my support for companies who have taken a stance on firearm legislation; particular laws in the state of New York.

I’d like to suggest and offer my support for the temporary adoption of policies preventing the sale of your arms to Law Enforcement in areas that have passed strict firearm legislation, particularly those in the State of New Your.

Five companies, thus far, have communicated their intention not to sell to any Law Enforcement or Government Agencies in New York State.
    – LaRue Tactical
    – Olympic Arms
    – Extreme Firepower Inc, LLC
    – Templar Custom
    – York Arms

Please join these companies and your many customers in adopting policies against the sale of your firearms to Law Enforcement and Government Agencies in the State of New York. “If it can’t be sold to the citizens, it won’t be sold to the government or law enforcement”.

Thanks for taking the time to read an email from a customer,

    Best Regards,

    ——- ————“

    1. I’m stealing this but reworking that first sentence. I’m not sure how you meant that to sound regarding the word ‘particular’.
      Thanks.

  21. BY the people FOR the people. Government must respect the wishes of its base. Personal agendas are not welcomed. All these manufacturers have my deepest respect.

  22. I applaud these companies and hope more will follow suit. Now we just need the ammo manufacturers to follow suit.

  23. I know the companies that will be getting my business in the future! I’m fighting for our freedoms and liberties and seems as if my Commander and Chief wants to take them away!!! I raised my right hand and swore to SUPPORT and DEFEND the CONSTITUTION of the United States, against all enemies Foregin and DOMESTIC!

  24. Swore an oath to support the president of the united states. In that same oath, swore to defend and uphold the constitution of the united states against All enemies, Foreign and Domestic. If i find myself ordered by the one to infringe upon the people, i side with the people. I strongly believe the government has lost their respect for the fact that they were voted into office By the people. No law shall infringe my rights Personally, and my actual M16 shall never taste american blood except in defense of my life or my brothers lives. My soldiers will not execute any orders to disarm the people. I am but a sergeant, but i know what i have to do morally and ethically.

  25. I wrote to them:

    My email-

We don’t live in a police state: If it can’t be sold to citizens, it won’t be sold to State and local government.

You will have my support when you make the sales to people equal with the Federal, State, and local governments…. and so will the millions of people that stand by my side, and behind me. Until then- I will be buying from:

    LaRue Tactical
    Olympic Arms

    Extreme Firepower Inc, LLC

    Templar Custom

    York Arms

    A potential customer.

    Josh

  26. Who the gun and ammo manufacturers should not sell to is the US Federal Govt,as in DHS,the secret service,IRS and any and all US Govt agencies and the US Military. Let`s see how they like this game. Commie bastards!

  27. Not only should all gun and ammo companies stop doing any business with any state against We The People and the 2nd Amendment , they should also refuse to do business with the entire government. No sales or service to the FBI, CIA, Army, Marines, etc. If the government is willing to infringe on We The People who are their boss, then WE have the right to stop them. No arms for the people then no arms to the government.

  28. To New York State and NY city.
It is my hope and prayer that no one what so ever sells you or services your exsisting fire arms ever again.
It’s about time New York found out they are not GOD and there government is no better then the rest of the country.
I do want it known that i harber no ill feelings tward the residents of the state of New York but your government is the example of what a government should NOT be.They are a black stain on the rest of this wonderful country!

  29. I will always support my right to bear arms. I hope you will do the same and show NY you fill the same.

  30. I feel bad for yall yankees up there. Something like that will never happen in Texas, hell it wont happen in the south period…you Guns dont kill people, people kill people, and the criminals dont go to the gun shop or pawn shops to buy their guns legally anyways, the get it on the streets and black market. so by takin away your right to own and purchase a handgun, all the goverment is doing is increasing the crime rate, decreasing your ability to defend yourself and your family, and taking one step closer to becoming a fascist nation. What is the first thing Hitlor, Stalin, and Mussolini did when the became dictators of their nations? Take away the right for citizens to own guns. If you take away your right to bear arms, how are you going to defend yourself from a fascist government???? You wont. I guarantee you Texas will succeed again if Obama tries to make a national gun control law to ban private ownership of guns….and I am sure many states will follow. Another Civil War is on the horizon if whats left of our great nation continues down this socialistic path that the government is hell bent on taking.

  31. Why don’t you New Yorkers stand up and fight for your rights. If you move, you are just running away from your responsibility to defend your rights and way of life.

    1. That’s exactly what we are doing. There’s MANY rallies already going on and lawsuits to repeal this. There are several counties who have already denounced the law and many upstate LEA’s that have said they will not enforce any unconstitutional law like this. So we are trying, but we need help from other states.

Make no mistake this fight is going to spill over Federally. Don’t think you are isolated.

    2. Case in point! Proposed Colorado legislation! Magpul has just announced that if they pass it they will leave Colorado.

This is a bad policy that they are promoting here. Boycotts.

  32. Why Just The Gun Manufactures I Think Any And All Companies That These Agencies Rely On Should Follow Suite ; Ammo,And All Other Tactical And Uniform Manufactures….Call For A Boycott On All State’s Imposing Gun Bans…Call For Extreme Pressure To Be Placed On All Senators,Congressmen,Assemblymen,Councilman,Judges…etc
Basically Anyone Who Can Be Voted Out Of Office…Make Them Realize Our Voices Count Ass Votes….Don’t Hear Our Voices Loose Your “JOB”

  33. The Funny thing is that We The People actually have all the power if we all just stopped paying taxes all at once in the whole US it would be the Politicians coming to Us the people to try and make deals and not the other way around.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientists to figure this out ya know?

  34. Need to go further than NY State.

Suspend sales to all federal agencies and any state agencies whose states are trying to restrict the 2nd Amendment.

Also, contracts to all federal agencies need to be suspended (the 2 billion rounds) and supplies released to the general public to redress price and supply issue the govt has intentionally created.

  35. Ammo manufacturers need to be pressured as well. If they can’t get ANY arms, then the laws will change. Powder and components should not be only available to the state.

  36. I hope the other major manufacturers will follow suit, including ammo companies. These laws will put them out of business so it is in their best interest and in the interest of liberty to join with this brave group. They have my wholehearted support.

  37. I support what these companies are doing. I hope more follow there lead. But it still leaves law abiding New York residents screwed. We need all the help and support we can get to stop this from advancing any further. Not only have supplies raised prices on guns and ammunition ..But I have been disgusted reading the price gouging citizens are getting away with. $1-1.50 per round. They should all be ashamed of themselves. I am 100% disabled as well as my 71 year old father. We’ve enjoyed target shooting since I was 7 years old. Now that too is being taken away from us. Thoroughly disgusted with NY state, the politicians and the people making a huge profit off of this very important issue.

  38. Hope the armed criminals go after all the asshole, super-wealthy, liberal, idiots who are running that shithole!!!!

  39. As a gun owner and supporter of the 2nd amendment stop selling to states that don’t that want to restrict our 2nd. amendment rights!

    1. Proposed Colorado legislation! Magpul has just announced that if they pass it they will leave Colorado.

They don’t care about jobs or sales they’re LIBERALS! They’d have us all on welfare dependent on the government for everything. This is what they want!

  40. The jackbooted thugs need more than guns and ammo. Stop selling them toilet paper, plowing their snow, servicing their vehicles, fixing their computers, whatever. No spare parts. No tires. No fuel. Siege warfare, folks! Starve the clowns! Quit hauling their garbage. No deliveries to the cafeterias! Whatever it takes! Use your imagination & have fun!

  41. I agree on these companies to stop selling to NYS cops and federal agency’s I live in NY Upstate and wish I could move out but cant afford to. I have had my NYS full carry conceled since 1981 and now I find out that in 5 years when I need to so called recertify, I will not have a full carry no more, looks like I lost might as well give up mu hand guns then.

  42. I tracked down the execs of S&W. From what I can gather, S&W’s email format is first initial, last name @ smith-wesson.com. With that in mind, here are some names to consider:

    James Debney, President and CEO
Jeffrey Buchanan, Executive Vice President and CFO

    Also,
    Liz Sharp, VP Investor Relations
    Smith & Wesson Holding Corp.
    (413) 747-3304
lsharp@smith-wesson.com (and this IS her email for sure).

One way to wrangle up executive names for a company is to go to the site’s “investor” tab and look at the reports.

I’ve yet to email them but will tomorrow. I will also consider, in addition to jdebney@, jd@ and jamesd@, jimd@, jdeb@, and any other format I may come up with. The worst that can happen is you get a bounceback. The best that can happen is you get the email through to the President or the other top execs.

  43. One last thought, you can check to see IF one email got through by determining what got bounced back and what didn’t. The one that didn’t is the one that got through.

  44. SIG: John Klebes as New Business Development Leader
    https://www.sigsauer.com/upFiles/aboutus/news/John%20Klebes%20%20press%20release.pdf

GLOCK: Gary Fletcher, Vice President of GLOCK, Inc.
    http://us.glock.com/news/release/glock-introduces-25th-aniversary-pistol

    GLOCK Vice President Josh Dorsey.
    http://us.glock.com/news/release/glock-exceeds-10K-pre-registrants-glock-id

Dorsey seems to be noted in all of the Glock articles.

Just need to figure out the email format. jdorsey@, jd@, joshd@, etc., etc. Just send every version and one will get through. I’ve done it a hundred times before trying to reach executives of large corporations.

    1. NOted address’s from Bonnie – yep, some came back but will “make rhe changes”
Hope you all will follow up and bug the “bums” till the “see the light”

  45. My emails below to the Mfg’s that the bucks must be worth more than the Constitution. Hope “y-all” tell them what you think.
    ***************
    FYI
As you are aware this Governments Gun Control issue is far beyond the Constitution Adm #2

From what I read you have chosen to not join other Mfg in refusing to sell to any enforcement agency in States that are limiting Citizens ownership of guns.

Since I do purchase guns periodically over the years for my collection as
well as my grown children as gifts I can state categorically that even though
it’s only a few thousand $$$, I will no longer purchase your brand or models.

Obviously my choice won’t “break your bank” but I certainly will also strongly encourage friends, associates, club members, and other sportsmen friends to consider the same option of avoiding any purchase of your products

    Regards,

  46. I reside in NY and because I own 3 hi-cap mags, for my 9mm semi-auto firearm, I am considered a criminal. Just a few short weeks ago, I was a law abiding citizen.

  47. I support these companies in their boycott against the insanity in New York. I also feel sorry for those gun owners IN New York that are basically getting bent over by these draconian, unconstitutional restrictions on their ownership. Hopefully they can build enough of a political challenge to the lawmakers who proposed AND voted for this travesty to either have it voided (unfortunately not likely) or amended.

  48. I fully support these companies as well.

And a side note, Cheaper Than Dirt just contributed $100,000 to the Second Amendment Foundation. That was pretty awesome too.

  49. The 2nd Amendment is not for Hunting Mr. President, it is to protect us from people like you. Police and government agencies are also citizens, you have no business selling guns for just one class of citizens, if Police and Government agencies are allowed to buy guns so should the private citizen. We are not a socialistic and are not a police state run country.

  50. How can we get to Federal, Alliant Technolgies, and CCI?
They need to be re-supplying “the people” and cut off the feds.
    A billion rounds is ENOUGH.

  51. its about time . . . can someone like NRA or NAGR create an online submission/petition for each of the BIG THREE? I would sign ALL of THEM. Let’s keep up the momentum. I fully support all of these gun and firearm supply manufacturer’s — let’s put NYS OUT OF BUSINESS !!!

  52. any company wgo stops selling to LE,we will support. We can buy all the ammo and arms they produce. There are alot of companys gouging us on ammo right now and that really sucks.I waiting to buy ammo I think the price will get back to normal especially if they stop selling to state and federal goverments.I am hopeful this nonesense knee jerk reaction will go by the way side when cooler heads preveil. If not Re.II will begin.

  53. lets boycott any state who doe not uphold the second amendment.Hurt them in there pocket books by not vactioning in those states. Now thats a good petion.

  54. I carry a badge, am NRA life, and believe in the 2 Ammendment, and CCW….I am one of many in my department that feel this way.

  55. You make me laugh. Do you not think that other gun companies will take up where these others have left off in New York? They are only hurting themselves with this action. However, if any of them have contracts with New York agencies they will be legally obligated to continue supplying firearms to them. Stop whining and support real, effective gun legislation.

  56. Glock where do you stand on this? Stand with us now. These select firearm manufactures have shown incredible leadership and their futures will be bright. I see them getting a LOT of future orders. Thank you to:

    LaRue Tactical
    Olympic Arms
    Extreme Firepower Inc, LLC
    Templar Custom
    York Arms

  57. I don’t know if this will reach the right people but I stand with the people who will not do business with any company in the future who has not backed our second amendment rights in this country. Glock are you listening?
I have purchased quite a lot of guns and accessories from your company and will no longer do that. America unite our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves as we write.

  58. These companies have this veterans support and thanks, I truly hope others follow their example.

  59. Damn you guys!…Especially Midway..would you please get some 9mm 22lr 22wmr 223…44special, 44 mag….now!!!!!! I only have a few rounds left!…as far as you know!

  60. I’m a New Yorker all my life and am not happy one bit about what my ash kissing Governor is doing with the O administration! Thanks to these companies for standing up for the 2nd amendment its more then what our own Congress and Senate is doing! Thank u! Thank u! Thank u!

  61. @Ryan,
You do realize that it was none other than William B. Ruger, Sr. who turned traitor and authored the high-capacity magazine language that ultimately became part of the AWB, do you not?
    http://www.thegunzone.com/rkba/papabill.html
Ruger and S&W have been on my personal Do Not Buy New list for a very long time for their past willingness to be complicit in sabotaging RTKBA to enhance their own fortunes. And that is key. No big firearms manufacturer that benefits from large-scale government cronyism will join this boycott. Patronize the “little guy” who needs your business, and knows that. Make the Federals and Rugers and Sig-Sauers and S&Ws of this world the pariahs they deserve to be, and do not go back to buying from them when this particular crisis is over, because if they need to pick a side in the future, it will be the same side, and not yours or mine.

    -VinnyG

  62. Spikes Tactical has also joined in the cause. However, I saw an e-mail response someone had gotten back from Armalite, it was very rude, and said about how it’s a free market and they will sell to anyone they can.

    1. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Blake. I had not seen it before. there is a response from the President of Armalite on this link: http://forum.pafoa.org/national-11/207265-armalite-will-not-refuse-le-govt-sales-says-vote-people-out-office-page-5.html

Essentially, they will continue to sell to any Dept’s and LEO’s that are not directly involved in enforcing gun restrictions. It may make sense to you when you read it, but to me, it’s a total sidestep. Sounds like they will sell to anyone they want as long as they can justify it to themselves.

As for me, it’s not enough. No more Armalite products for me.

    2. Sorry – one more update for those curious about Armalite’s response. I found a thread on AR.com, which includes two personal responses from the President of Armalite. They are sticking to their position of selling to individual LEO’s in states where normal citizens are banned from purchasing the same weapons. Read and judge for yourself: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_27/232645_Armalite__I_have_spent_several_thousand_dollars_on_your_products_over_the_years__and_I_want_to_ask__.html&page=1

  63. Finally! Companies with backbone and guts to do the right thing and to support the 2nd Amendment! Lets’ also add Washington DC to the list and watch law enforcement protect the “BIG O” with sling shots! Two voters from MO and customers of companies such as yours! Watch the movie FLYWHEEL- and be encouraged!

  64. Move to Texas!!! You’ll be glad you did. Just remember to leave all the ant-gun liberalism at the state line. We will NOT put up with that.

  65. Also people should not buy Kimber, or Henry arms which is made in New York. They should move to a gun right friendly state.

  66. A quick take on the suggested short message to manufacturers, please let me know if you can think of any improvements.
Anyone know the emails to All of NYS and NYC’s suppliers?

Hello, please take the time to consider the revocation of the inalienable rights of the citizens of New York State by way of the secret bills crafted by Bloomberg’s private lawyers and rammed through to become law by Cuomo’s intimidation of representatives with the complete exclusion of the public.

(in bold)We don’t live in a police state: If it can’t be sold to citizens, it shouldn’t be sold to State and local government.

    Thank you,
    (your signature)

  67. It is not rocket science – gun free zones will only have bad/crazy people holding the guns. Liberals have not really thought this “gun free zone” thing out.

  68. Don’t forget to ban California and Colorado! Colorado just banned or is getting ready to ban standard capacity magazines and well I wont even get into what California has banned…. Not enough space!

  69. Massachusetts is an unfair state also. law enforcement can carry high cap mags, but for the general public our high cap mags have to be pre-ban. i support any and all companies that are supporting the citizens.

  70. I hope all gun companies relocate to states that support them and I am very happy to support all the companies who boycott the states that choose to attack our second ammendment rights.
