The controversial, and at times just plain goofy Glenn Beck has been getting more and more extreme in his talk against Donald Trump.

If only Mr. Beck had been so vocal and so aggressive about protecting and defending our gun rights, to say nothing of Barack Obama and the rest of his gun-hating regime and his enablers in the media and on Capital Hill.  Ditto for other hot-button issues like illegal aliens invading our nation, and the violent crime they too often bring with them.

Instead of demanding illegals be encouraged to leave, the increasingly chubby Glenn Beck (is that the booze?) is hinting about assassinating a President Donald Trump with guest Brad Thor:

THOR: He is a danger to America and I got to ask you a question and this is serious and this could ring down incredible heat on me because I’m about to suggest something very bad. It is a hypothetical I am going to ask as a thriller writer.

With the feckless, spineless Congress we have, who will stand in the way of Donald Trump overstepping his constitutional authority as President? If Congress won’t remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that if, if, he oversteps his mandate as president, his constitutional-granted authority, I should say, as president.

If he oversteps that, how do we get him out of office? And I don’t think there is a legal means available. I think it will be a terrible, terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office because you won’t be able to do it through Congress.

BECK: I would agree with you on that and I don’t think you actually have the voices we’ve been talking about and we’ve been talking about this off-air for a while. I think the voices like ours go away. I don’t think we are allowed – especially if things, and I believe the economy is going to go to crap, even if Jesus was in office. It’s going to naturally reset. It has to.

SiriusXM wasn’t amused.

SiriusXM encourages a diversity of discourse and opinion on our talk programs. However, comments recently made by a guest on the independently produced Glenn Beck Program, in our judgement, may be reasonably construed by some to have been advocating harm against an individual currently running for office, which we cannot and will not condone. For that reason, we have suspended The Glenn Beck Program from our Patriot channel for the coming week and are evaluating its place in our lineup going forward. SiriusXM is committed to a spirited, robust, yet responsible political conversation and believes this action reflects those values.

Emphasis added.

Could this be more of the end for Glenn Beck and his media empire of sorts.  He’s already laid off dozens of employees as viewers have heard enough Trump Derangement Syndrome from Beck – and cancelled their subscriber accounts.

I drafted up a short letter to my local radio station, encouraging them to drop Glenn Beck.  Maybe others will do the same and Beck can go do some missionary work and recenter himself.

By the way, did Glenn Beck apologize for his statements last week with Brad Thor?

No, he has instead busied himself attacking Marco Rubio, calling him a “sell out” for burying the hatchet and supporting fellow Republican Donald Trump’s run for the White House.

Here’s a tissue Glenn.  Go have a good cry in the corner.

  1. Glenn Beck’s been swirling around the drain for a while now.

Now he’s got this Trump hatred, like the Donald took his wife and his dog or something.

Maybe Glenn needs to put down the booze and sober up.

  2. Before he had to let a number of employees go and shutter the NY and Washington offices, his best people had already jumped ship.

It’s sad, I used to learn a bit of US history from Beck’s channel and had hopes that he’d make it. There was great potential there.

Now it’s just a matter of time before he starts a traveling salvation show.

    1. Isn’t he out of Texas, and wouldn’t that have been why he closed NY and DC, because he moved away?

  3. When I read this elsewhere a few days ago, the thought of assassination never entered my mind, and really still doesn’t. Have to wonder why Sirius thought that.

    1. Trump isn’t a kook… he’s definitely unusual for a lot of reasons, but his popularity is because people are tired of the politicians that all sound alike. When Trump comes out with one of his off-the-cuff comments, it’s kind of refreshing. The Bushes and Clintons are such robotic political machines that they don’t make “real” comments like that.

    2. that’s putting it mildly… I’d say Beck is a card-carrying tinfoil hat-wearing lunatic at this point.

I used to listen to his show, I’ve read a couple of his books. “Control” is a good book about the real goals of the gun control movement… but he’s gone completely off the rails over the past year. Ok, he wanted Cruz to win the nomination.. fine… but to declare him to be “Annointed by God” to be POTUS? (among other craziness)

      He’s a complete loon.

  4. I think all signs are pointing to Mr. Beck having fallen off the wagon.

Such a shame. He’s got talent and passion. It’s a shame he’s gone off to moonbat land.
