A Green Bay, Wisconsin cop, who obviously doesn’t read Guns Save Life’s blog, was robbed in Chicago in the last couple of days while doing the tourist gig. Someone broke into his car and stole his gun and his badge.
If yoiu haven’t seen it already at GSL, here’s a hint.

Avoid Chicago for business or leisure travel. Nothing in Chicago is worth dying for.

I agree with the sentiment though –
Keep every federal reserve note out of Chicago that you possibly can. Starve the beast.
I stopped going to Chicago and the suburbs for entertainment a long time ago. No shopping, no Cubs, no Bears, no Cook County! The only thing that gets me into the northeast corner of our state is air travel. I haven’t found a way around that yet.
Everyone in Illinois needs to vote with their dollars. Stop spending money in Cook and the surrounding counties.
Having grown up in the southwest burbs, it saddens me to see what it has become. I mean, in the 70’s, there were still places that you didn’t want to be after dark, but now it seems that *anywhere* in the Chicago area, night or day, is not where you want to be.
Sounds like burglary, not robbery.
