Good news from Wisconsin!

They have amended their reciprocity information page with the addition Illinois CCW licenses to those recognized in Wisconsin.

Permit(s) Honored In Wisconsin:

Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virgin Islands, Washington, Wyoming

This is particularly good news for northern Illinois residents who wish to escape the insanely dangerous and violence-plagued Chicago for leisure, recreation or whatever.  Now destinations in Wisconsin are available to those who prefer to take their firearm with them during their travels.

  1. Great news.

Although you don’t list Missouri, from their state web site:
“Missouri’s concealed carry law provides recognition of concealed weapons permits from every state that issues them.”

I’m still a little shocked that Illinois recognizes Illinois licenses, but I’ll get over that eventually.

    1. Oops, in my hurry, I misread that list as “states honoring IL license” instead of “Permits honored in WI”.
